Revenues, Profits Up For Ameresco

Framingham energy-management firm Ameresco continued its steady growth with third-quarter profits growing 3 percent compared to last year and revenues increasing 18 percent to $227 million.
The company earned $12.3 million in the quarter, compared to $12 million during the same time period last year.
Through the first nine months of the year, the company has earned a $26.5 million profit on $539.7 million in revenue, increases of 25 and 23 percent, respectively.
The company also raised its year-end revenue projections based on two recent acquisitions.
In August, the company bought APS Energy Services Co. Inc. of Arizona and one month after it bought Applied Energy Group of New York.
