The Southborough-based Massachusetts Restaurant Association has named William Zammer Jr. as chairman of its board of directors for 2010-2011 and appointed Robert Lawler and Patrick Renna to three-year terms on the board.
Zammer is the owner and operator of Cape Cod Restaurants Inc., which encompasses several restaurants and lodging places on the Cape. He has worked in the food service industry for 40 years, holding positions including president and CEO of the Seilers/Sodexo Co.
Zammer is also chairman of the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce and vice chairman of the Cape Cod Health Care and Hospitals.
Lawler is the general manager for Entertainment Cruises in Boston, handling sales, operations, food and beverage and administration. He has a bachelor's degree from Marquette University.
Renna is CFO of Boloco, a Boston-based group of 16 restaurants throughout New England. He has a bachelor's degree in accounting from Franklin Pierce College, and an MBA and a master's in accounting from the University of Massachusetts at Boston.
