A new report by Robert Half Technology says that nearly 2/3 of chief information officers will not be giving out expensive gadgets as gifts this holiday season.
The national poll indicates that 64 percent of CIOs don’t plan on giving out technology-based products, with 33 percent saying yes. The gifts in question included computers, laptops, PDAs, and other electronics, and the report took responses from more than 1,400 CIOs into consideration.Â
“IT managers may be experts on all things technology-related, but it doesn’t mean their personal or professional gift giving has to be limited to electronics and technology gadgets,” said Katherine Spencer Lee, executive director of Robert Half Technology.
