Waltham-based Vantage Builders Inc. announced Thursday the completion of 84,000 square feet of renovations in Southborough.
The renovations took place at 136 Turnpike Rd., home to Olympus Surgical Technologies, a minimally invasive surgery device developer and manufacturer.
Vantage said the multi-phase project involved renovating the company’s executive office suite, “creating a more modern, vibrant and efficient area.” A 2,100-square-foot training area was also constructed, and new carpet was installed throughout the 84,479 square feet of the second and third floors of the building. Vantage said a primary concern was ensuring zero downtime for Olympus, which has more than 100 employees at the site, and that double shifts were used to achieve that goal and complete the project on time.
Holm & Associates were the project managers. The architects on the project were Fine Associates and the engineers were Avid Engineers and Hung & Associates.
