Reliant Medical relocates Milford offices to former Sports Authority

Worcester physician group Reliant Medical on Monday consolidated its offices in Milford to a much larger 54,700-square-foot building on Cedar Street in Milford. 

The new office at 101 Cedar St. opened Monday in the building left vacant when Sports Authority closed in 2016, in a plaza including a Lowe’s, a picture framing store and mattress store. The health provider’s two West Street locations in Milford, totaling just 23,800-square-feet, will now close. 

The location will have an OB/GYN department, including midwifery and urogynecology. Mammography services, however, will not be available at this location.  

The building is owned by Quarry Place Two LLC, a business entity owned by local car dealer and businessman Kevin Meehan.

A document on file with the Worcester County Registry of Deeds indicates that Reliant signed a 20-year lease for the building at the end of 2016.
