Reliant Medical Group will open its first Holden pediatrics practice on Monday, moving those services from an office in Spencer.
Reliant already has other offices at the site at 64 Boyden Road, including a family practice, OB/GYN, lab and X-ray services and optician services. The pediatrics office will open in an 11,000-square-foot second-floor space.
Three pediatricians, Dr. Ronald Tadiri, Dr. Martha Waite and Lisa Mascarelli, will be joined at the new office by Dr. Kathy Chrismer, who most recently practiced at nearby Holden Pediatrics.
The new Holden offices will be part of a much broader restructuring of Central Massachusetts medical offices for Reliant.
In September, Reliant is expected to open its new offices at 5 Neponset St., near the Greendale Mall in Worcester. That location will include dermatology, rheumatology, behavioral medicine and podiatry, services now split between two Reliant locations that will both eventually close: at 425 Lake Avenue North and 135 Gold Star Blvd. Two other Worcester locations -- 191 May St. and 300 Grove St. -- will close after services are shifted to the Neponset Street building.
In October, Reliant expects to move into a new office at 11 Distributor Road, just off Gold Star Boulevard in Worcester.
In March 2019, Reliant expects to open a new location at a former Price Chopper at Route 9 and Maple Avenue in Shrewsbury to include pediatrics and adult medicine. In April 2019, it will open gastroenterology and endoscopy services at a former Macy's home goods store at the Auburn Mall.
