Worcester Business Journal’s in-person annual forum on the cannabis industry is back in 2022, and registration for the event is still open. Registration can be done here.
The event will be held Wednesday at the DCU Center from 2:30 to 6:00 p.m. It will feature Shawn Collins, the executive director of the Cannabis Control Commission as keynote speaker and panelists and four panelists: Dave Batista, of EO.care, Anthony Knickle, general manager at the The Botanist, Melissa Maranda, executive vice president and Chief Operating Officer of Lighthouse Biz Solutions, and Taylor Weaver, COO and co-founder of Kush Kart. The event will be moderated by Beth Waterfall, the executive director of Elevate Northeast.
The fourth installment of WBJ’s cannabis summit will feature discussions around business development opportunities, challenges and innovation among the region’s leading cannabis industry business leaders and service providers. Panels will feature a roster of experienced speakers including some of the Worcester area’s cannabis business leaders representing the adult-use, CBD, science, medical, advocacy, and professional services arenas of the cannabis industry.
