Register for the 8th annual WBJ Central Mass Manufacturing Summit and Excellence Awards
The Worcester Business Journal will host its eighth annual Central Mass Manufacturing Summit and Excellence Awards on Tuesday, April 25 at the College of the Holy Cross.
The event will feature an awards ceremony, keynote address, and panel discussion on the state of the manufacturing industry.
With the ongoing challenges that have lingered because of the COVID-19 pandemic, manufacturers in the regions have dealt with disrupted supply chains and workforce shortages. These issues have spurred the industry into action to find solutions such as an increase in the use of automation.
This year’s panel’s of industry and manufacturing leaders will talk about the disruptions, how the industry is coming out of that period, and the issues creeping up that will shape the direction of their companies and the industry. Panel topics will include: technology, robotics, and automation; workforce challenges and opportunities; and supply chain management and procurement.
The summit will take place at the Hogan Campus Center from 2:30 to 6 p.m.
