Apparently, 2006 was a good year to be in the software business, especially at Westboro-based RedTail Solutions and Framingham-based iET Solutions.
RedTail Solutions reported this morning that its revenue doubled in 2006.
In addition, the firm said its customer base grew by 40 percent last year. Its roster of customers now includes Irvington, N.Y.-based Prestige Brands, one of WalMart’s larger suppliers.
Meanwhile, iET Solutions said its sales grew more than 60 percent, making 2006 the company’s best financial year in its history. iET said it signed 24 new IT service management contracts, while maintaining a customer retention rate of 98 percent.
“Our accomplishments over the past year are largely due to our ability to deliver affordable, enterprise-level solutions to midsize business and small enterprise companies,” Michael Scheib, president and CEO of iET, said in a press release.
