For companies looking to create a brand that appeals to potential employees, videos are becoming a necessity, according to HR research organization Staffing.org.
The organization says videos presenting information about a company are becoming the new norm for employers. But, compared with written materials or photographs, they can be complicated and expensive to produce.
One relatively easy way to incorporate video on a company web site is to post clips of current employees making unscripted comments about their experiences on the job. Another is adding a video of a company leader discussing the company’s mission, strategy and objectives, rather than just including that information as words on a screen.
