Are the springs from your living room couch giving you a back ache? If you’re willing to deal with the discomfort, you’re not alone. In a recent Experian-Gallup Personal Credit Index survey, 50 percent of consumers indicated feeling uneasy about making large purchases such as home, car and major appliances, in the following three months. The survey suggests consumer credit perceptions are hampered by crashing mortgage market, more home foreclosures and increased long-term interest rates.
