Reader Consensus: No Slots – Period!
For a few days, there were four sites targeted for the state's lone slots parlor license after a Baltimore firm sought one in Boxborough. But after selectmen rejected it, we're back to three for now, including the Rush Street Gaming plan for the Kelley Square area.
In our Flash Poll for the week of May 13, some 30 percent of voters said Worcester would be the best of the then four sites. But a higher percentage said no to all of them, with several commenters saying no to slots at any location.
