Raytheon wins warfare award

Raytheon Company's Persistent Surveillance and Dissemination System of Systems (PSDS2) in Marlboro was awarded top honors in the network centric warfare awards.

The awards, sponsored by the Institute for Defense & Government Advancement, recognize and promote initiatives in the Dept. of Defense, coalition governments, and defense industry that showcase the principles of network centric warfare and support information age transformation.

PSDS2 is a system that integrates intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems, creating real time video and fused information for display and dissemination of actionable intelligence to commanders in the field.

"This is a tremendous honor for our customer and industry team," said Jack Harrington, vice president of Command and Control Systems for Raytheon's Network Centric Systems.  "Together we've provided the warfighter a force multiplier that's proven invaluable in the war on terror."
