Raytheon Co., the Waltham-based defense contractor with operations in Central Massachusetts, saw its net sales rise 2.8 percent in 2010, while net income dropped 6.8 percent.
Net sales for the year totaled $25.2 billion, up from $24.9 billion in 2009, while profit fell to $1.8 billion from $1.9 billion the previous year.
The fourth quarter followed a similar pattern, with net sales rising 3.3 percent to $6.9 billion and profits falling 8.9 percent to $459 million.
