Ralph Crowley Jr. is not only the president and CEO of Worcester's most visible company, the $450-million Polar Beverages, but he is also a true believer in the city.
Whether he is helping fellow beverage producer Wachusett Brewing Company figure out the details of canning, or attempting to keep the Telegram & Gazette under local ownership, Crowley is willing to put his money where his mouth is and help others do the same.
The Crowley empire also includes ownership of the highly successful Wachusett Mountain Ski Area in Princeton, run by Ralph's brothers David and Jeff Crowley along with sister Caroline Crowley Stimpson.
Ralph Crowley is among that rarified level of executives in the city who not only knows everyone in the game but is still actively playing his own hand while helping others with theirs.
