During an interview on the WBJ Podcast, Stephanie Ramey, the new president of the Worcester Railers Hockey Club said the team is planning on starting its next season on Oct. 24 as planned.
"Right now, we are full steam ahead," Ramey said on The Weekly Business Report. "Our No. 1 prioirty is our responsibility to make sure our staff, our players, our fans are safe."

"Any measures we can make, we are ready to play hockey come October," Ramey said.
Ramey's first day as Railers president was May 11. She joined the team from the tourism marketing agency Discover Central Massachusetts, where she was the executive director.
