The owners behind Hudson eatery Rail Trail Flatbread Co. plan to open a restaurant at 223 Main St. in Milford, in the old Rockland Trust building near the town common, co-owner Karim El-Gamal said on Friday.
El-Gamal said the restaurant group plans to open a location at the site, but said he didn't have finalized details. The group did receive a liquor license from the town, he said, which will help move things forward. El-Gamal owns the restaurant with Michael Kasseris and Jason Kleinerman.
The Rockland Trust building was purchased by Theodore and Anna Kasseris, the parents of Michael Kasseris, for $965,855 in 2019.
Rail Trail's flagship location is located in downtown Hudson, and has two sister businesses: the dessert shop New City Microcreamery in Hudson and Cambridge and the Hudson bar Less Than Greater Than.
