In an effort to help support the local business community, Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester will offer 20 free online business classes for business owners and their workforces, the school announced on Thursday.
"Our economy and our livelihood depends on the success and viability of our companies, and it is imperative that we assist them in this time of major economic disruption,” said QCC president DLuis Pedraja, in a statement. “COVID-19 has dealt a lethal blow to many businesses, and those businesses that don’t have the skills needed in the current and post pandemic world will likely not survive.”
All of the courses will be self-paced and available online for a limited time, the college said.
Those interested in registering or learning more should visit QCC’s Center for Workforce Development and Continuing Education.
