Quinsigamond Community College and American International College have announced the creation of a joint admissions partnership between the two institutions beginning in January.
The QCC-AIC Joint Admissions Partnership will guarantee admission into AIC to QCC students who are interested in pursuing a bachelor's degree at AIC upon graduating from QCC. The student must have full-time status and maintain a grade point average of 2.0 or higher to be considered eligible for the program.
The partnership also includes the possibility of scholarships for QCC students from AIC, should they meet the program requirements. Additional financial aid will be offered to students who maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher while at QCC. Participants in the Joint Admission Program will also have access to AIC student services, such as academic advising and career counseling.
"AIC has provided yet another channel for our students to further their studies upon graduating from Quinsigamond," said QCC president Gail Carberry.
