Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester and Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner announced on Wednesday a transfer agreement that will allow their students to transfer between the schools for four programs once their general education requirements are complete.
Under the agreement, QCC students will be able to transfer to MWCC in order to pursue an associate degree in either physical therapy assisting or veterinary technology. MWCC students will be able to transfer to QCC to pursue an associate degree in radiologic technology or respiratory care, according to a press release from QCC.
“We serve the community and our communities are not defined by rigid boundaries; they blend into one another,” said QCC President Luis Pedraja in a statement. “I think it is critical to create partnerships such as this one that will allow us to provide services to a greater number of students.”
