Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester has launched a subscription model for an educational program to allow users to have unlimited access to professional development training through the school’s Center for Workforce Development and Continuing Education, QCC announced on Monday.
The new subscription model will content over 500 online modules in 14 areas of advanced manufacturing, as well as Microsoft 365 online software services suite. Users will be able to choose from subscriptions that last between 30 days and one year, according to QCC.
“We are moving away from the one-size-fits-all approach and are allowing individuals to design a custom program that is best suited to their individual career goals,” said Kathleen Manning, dean of the Center for Workforce Development and Continuing Education, in a press release. “This is a smarter approach in delivering professional development training to our workforce of the future.”
Each module will take about one hour to complete, and will provide students with a certificate once they are complete.
Those interested in learning more about the program should visit QCC’s website.
