Wallingford-based Amphenol Corp., a producer of electronic and fiber optic systems, reported today that the company’s fourth quarter sales increased 18 percent to $777.3 million compared to $659.4 million for the same period in 2006.
In Q4, Amphenol’s net income grew to $99.9 million from $78.4 million in the fourth quarter of last year. The company completed two acquisitions in the last quarter of 2007, with aggregate annual sales of about $45 million.
Amphenol’s Chairman and CEO Martin H. Loeffler cited strength in the mobile device, military and commercial aerospace, and wireless infrastructure markets for the growth.
