Pulse check: Top reported reasons for not being insured in Mass.

Massachusetts had an uninsurance rate of 3.7 percent in 2014, among the lowest in the nation. Those who remained uninsured cited the following as factors:

Cost is too high 75.3%
Don’t know how to get insurance 46.3%
Lost job or changed employers 43.4%
Employer coverage not available 40.7%
Lost eligibility for MassHealth or Commonwealth Care 30.4%
