Provo stays strong during transitional times

In the past 18 months, Provo has acquired two competing financial services practices, begun work on a 3,000-square-foot expansion of its property with an environmental friendly mindset – including electric car charging stations and continuing its 10-year practice of powering the building with wind power – and maintained 100-percent client retention. These strides come as the financial services industry is under turmoil as the U.S. Department of Labor is calling on all advisors to be fiduciaries and stand behind the recommendations they make to their clients, something Provo has done for 25 years.

In the community, Provo initiated and implemented the first 100-percent sustainable U.S. college endowment at Becker College, where Christopher serves on the board of trustees. Together with wife Pamela, the couple are members of the St. John’s High School Saint Francis Xavier Society, serve on the selection committee of the Francis Ouimet Scholarship Fund and volunteer – along with staff – for the Worcester County Reserve Deputy Sheriffs, Habitat for Humanity, and the UMass Cancer Walk.
