ProVerde lab to test adult-use cannabis in Milford

ProVerde Laboratories in Milford expects to begin testing adult-use cannabis samples later this summer.
ProVerde Laboratories, Inc., a cannabis testing company, received on July 15 a final license from the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission to test adult-use cannabis at its Milford facility.
ProVerde, which also operates in Maine, says it provides analytical testing, consulting, and research and development services for the cannabis, CBD and hemp industries.
The company has been operating in Milford since 2018, testing medical marijuana.
With the license, ProVerde will be allowed to test cannabis and cannabis-infused products that are grown and/or made in Massachusetts for both the adult-use and medical markets. The license approval is pending a final inspection at the Milford facility, which is scheduled for July 30.
ProVerde has been certified as an independent testing laboratory for marijuana treatment centers since March 2018.
