Health food restaurant Protein House, occupying a the space below the 145 Front at City Square apartments in downtown Worcester, is slated to open next week after getting clearance from the License Commission.
Without giving his name, a man appearing before the commission on Thursday said the restaurant, which is akin to Panera Bread, hopes to open by the end of next week.
The restaurant will offer shakes, juices, burgers, wraps and pancakes, he said.
The restaurant joins Fidelity Bank and Elizabeth Grady as tenants on the ground floor of the 340-unit apartment complex.
Real estate brokers NAI Glickman, Kovago & Jacobs announced the restaurant’s lease in October 2017.
