Princeton Review Loses $13.2M In Q2

Despite revenues climbing nearly 80 percent to $56.2 million, second-quarter losses for the The Princeton Review increased year-over-year from $1.8 million to $13.2 million.

The Shrewsbury-based test preparation company said its December 2009 purchase of test prep company Penn Foster yielded $24.9 million in revenues in the most recent quarter.

Expenses for the company almost doubled year-over-year, however, rising from $33.2 million to $62.2 million.
