The Princeton Review, a Framingham-based test preparation and career education publisher, has received a $10 million investment from private equity firm Camden Partners and has named one of Camden’s founders to its board of directors.
David Warnock, who co-founded Baltimore-based Camden, gets a seat on Princeton’s board after two Camden funds purchased $10 million in Princeton’s preferred stock.
Camden was started in 1995 and invests mostly in the education and financial services industries.
In a statement, Warnock said Camden became attracted to Princeton after its $170 million acquisition of the Penn Foster Education Group in October.
