Preschool Gets State Grant

A state grant will allow four toddlers to attend a Worcester preschool free of charge for three years.
The Little Patriots Early Learning Center, located at 6 Sheridan St. in Worcester, is sponsored by Veterans Inc. and provides child care and education to children, with a focus on services for children of veterans or active-duty military personnel.
Director Lisa Bousbouras estimates that the grant from the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care will total more than $100,000 over the three-year period.
