Worcester-based Premier Insurance Company, an auto insurance subsidiary of The Travelers Companies Inc. of St. Paul, Minn., announced that it will change its name to Travelers of Massachusetts.
The move is part of an effort to create a stronger identity with its parent company, according to a company statement.
Travelers of Massachusetts will be the brand name for all personal insurance policies, including homeowners, liability and identity theft insurance, issued by a Travelers company in the state.
