Gardner optical instrument manufacturer Precision Optics is looking to expand its presence in the national investment community with the hiring of Lytham Partners, one of the country’s largest investor relations firms for smaller companies.
In a Tuesday press release, the company cited its improving business -- specifically in the medical device field -- for seeking out help in attracting and communicating with current and potential investors.
The company is on pace for a much stronger 2019, with revenues of $4.4 million through the first nine months of its fiscal year representing a 72% increase from the same period last year.
Now, the small-but-growing company will have access to Arizona-based Lytham Partners’ platform of institutional investors as well as the firm’s shareholder communication strategies.
Precision Optics in July announced the acquisition of Ross Optical Industries to expand its offerings to the U.S. defense sector.
“Given the progress we have made, we believe the time is appropriate to expand our presence within the national investment community,” CEO Joseph Forkey said in a statement.
