Acton video-on-demand company SeaChange International saw its revenues and profits rise for the first quarter of its 2010 fiscal year.
Revenues for the quarter, ended April 30, were $48.9 million, 8 percent higher than for the same period last year. Net income was $1 million, compared to $300,000 for Q1 2009.
The quarterly revenues reflected a shift in company sales, with less money coming from software products and more from software services and server and storage products.
