Forty employees of the Davis Cos., a Marlborough staffing firm, took a 2.62-mile walk to commemorate the Boston Marathon bombing attacks, wearing “Boston Strong” T-shirts. Proceeds from the company’s shirt order have been donated to the One Fund for victims
Almost two tons of trash and more than a half-ton of recyclables were collected at the Webster Dudley Business Alliance Earth Day cleanup April 27. Matt's Maintenance Service donated use of its trucks.
Harr Motor Group of Worcester is raising funds for the UMass Medicine Cancer Walk in September, with a goal of $50,000. Harr made a $25,000 donation and will donate a portion of proceeds from vehicle sales and service by UMass employees until the walk.
Webster-based Long Subaru hosted a free community Love-A-Pet event, showcasing local animal shelters with adoptable pets on site.
