Photo/Courtesy As part of the nationwide National Nurses Week, nurses at HealthAlliance Hospital in Leominster used the money that would ordinarily go to an honorary dinner and donated it back to the community. The $2,000 donation was split evenly between Our Father's House in Fitchburg and Ginny's Helping Hands in Leominster, two nonprofits that have an immediate impact on the Leominster and Fitchburg communities. The money was raised through last year's 5K Run/Walk for Fun event, which was sponsored by the Wayside Racquet and Swim Club in Marlborough. Marlborough Radiology Associates joined the diagnostic imaging department at Clinton Hospital in 2006 and with the organization's recent donation it became the latest addition to the Clinton Hospital Partnership, which serves as a fundraising arm of the hospital.
