A WARMER NEW YEAR

Staffers at Worcester-based Harr Motor Group donated more than 320 new coats to families in need at Friendly House of Worcester. Harr purchased the coats from Operation Warm, a Pennsylvania-based nonprofit, in exchange for a donation.

North Brookfield Savings Bank donated $5,000 for a new police cruiser after a debt-exclusion measure failed in town.   • Framingham-based Mutual One Bank donated $2,500 to MetroWest Free Medical Program to support its emergency preparedness program.
