State Rep. Vincent Pedone, D-Worcester, recently visited Plumley Village Health Services in Worcester and read to a group of young children as a way of emphasizing the importance of parents reading out loud to their children. Plumley Village Health Services is an active participant in Reach Out and Read, a national literacy program aimed at children that are at risk of entering school unprepared to learn.
