William E. Philbrick, senior vice president at Worcester-based accounting firm Greenberg, Rosenblatt, Kull & Bitsoli, has been appointed to the IRS Advisory Council for a three-year term.
The council provides a public forum for IRS officials and the public to discuss tax administration issues.
Members are selected to represent the taxpaying public, tax professionals, small and large businesses, and the payroll community to provide the IRS with feedback.
