Pepperell manufacturer Keystone Precision & Engineering plans to expand its operations after buying the facility it operates in from a retiring pool contractor.
Keystone Real Estate LLC, a Pepperell entity managed Robert Stanieich and Anthony Serino, bought the 12,345-square-foot industrial property at 20 Lomar Park Drive in Pepperell for $1 million.
The deal closed on Dec. 6.
Stanieich and Serino operate Keystone Precision & Engineering in the building and plan to expand, according to the broker on the deal, Nate Nickerson, a sales associate at O’Brien Commercial Properties Inc. in Concord, represented the seller and found the buyer.
The seller, Trek Venture LLC, managed by Daniel Fitzgerald, bought the building on the two-acre site in 2002 for $75,000. It is assessed at $673,300.
Fitzgerald's company, Stone Edge Design, a pool contractor who operates out of the building, specializes in the installation of in-ground gunite pools. The company signed a one-year lease with Keystone.
