People on the Move
(In the September 30 online edition, the ‘People on the Move’ section, we misspelled the name of Kristen Billiar, a newly-named department head at WPI, and improperly identified him as female.) Kristen L. Billiar, a faculty member at Worcester Polytechnic Institute since 2002 and a professor of biomedical engineering, will now head that department. He was formerly an engineer at Organogenesis Inc. Billiar is a graduate of Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y., and has both a master's and Ph.D. in bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadephia.
