Pending Home Sales Up In June
The number of single-family homes put under agreement in June was up 9.28 percent year-over-year, according to the Massachusetts Association of Realtors.
MAR said this was the second month in a row of rising pending sales, though it also previously reported that completed single-family home sales were down 16.9 percent in May compared to the previous year.
Single-family homes put under agreement in June totaled 4,758 by MAR's count, up from 4,354 in June 2011. Pending condominium sales rose 8 percent, from 1,689 to 1,826.
