The Paxton Sports and Tennis facility has sold for $840,000 with the new owners planning on keeping the location open as a tennis and fitness center.
Peter Guterman of Paxton sold the business and building to LGR Realty LLC on Thursday. The location at 603-609 Pleasant St. has four indoor tennis courts and six outdoor red clay courts as well as outdoor and indoor pools and a new fitness center.
The new owners, Mike and Nicole Roberts, plan to keep it operating as a tennis and fitness center, according to Kelleher & Sadowsky Associates. Mike is a tennis pro, and Nicole will be the business manager. They are planning on making improvements to the operation and building, according to Kelleher.
David Cohen and Jim Umphrey of Kelleher & Sadowsky Associates handled the sale for the seller and buyers.
