Paxton resident pays $2M for Leominster plaza

A retail plaza on Route 12 just south of downtown Leominster has been bought by a Paxton resident for just under $2.4 million.

The plaza at 1123 Central St. includes a Dippin’ Donuts, the hair salon Cosmetic Experiences and the day spa The Claw Shop.

The site was sold by a limited liability corporation registered to Jay Goldberg, who is the owner and president of Beverly property management firm Spire Investments. It was bought by a firm registered to Rodrigo DeOliveira of Paxton. The sale closed Aug. 20.

The 1.5-acre property was last assessed by the City of Leominster at $1.7 million. It last sold in 2016 for just under $1.8 million, according to city records.
