Patrick Reworks Energy Team

The state's executive office of energy and environmental affairs will see some shakeups beyond Secretary Ian Bowles not staying on for another term.

Richard Sullivan, the previously-announced energy and environmental affairs secretary-designee, announced that three members of the state's energy team will have increased roles next year.

Philip Guidice will move from commissioner of the Division of Energy Resources to undersecretary of energy, while Steven Clark will become assistant secretary for renewable energy. Mark Sylvia, who has led the Green Communities program for the past few years, will become the new DOER commissioner while Frank Gorke will become the new assistant secretary for energy efficiency.
