The Patrick administration has scheduled a series of 19 budget forums around the state, including three in Central Massachusetts.
The forums will be hosted either by Gov. Deval Patrick or other administration officials.
Monday, Jeffrey Simon, state director of infrastructure investment will conduct a forum in Framingham. On Wednesday, Dec. 9, Paul Reville, state secretary of education will appear in Sutton. Thursday, Dec. 10, JudyAnn Bigby, state secretary of health and human services, will be in Gardner.
The locations for the forums are yet to be determined.
Patrick has outlined a plan for closing the state’s $600 million fiscal year 2010 budget shortfall. The plan includes mid-year budget cuts, layoffs, agency consolidation and other measures.
