A Spanish-based company has teamed up with a New Hampshire firm to develop, finance and operate biomass energy products in the Northeast.
Gestamp Biomass, a Madrid-based vision of Gestamp Renewables, has agreed to team up with Clean Power Development of Concord, N.H., to develop biomass projects in the six New England as well as New York and Pennsylvania.
Under terms of the agreement, Clean Power Development will identify and provide due diligence on existing biomass projects for possible acquisition by Gestamp Biomass. Clean Power will also manage a select number of biomass energy projects to be developed in the region.
The partnership will operate primarily out of Concord, N.H.
