Chelmsford-based Datawatch Corp. will bring its visual data software to the Middle East under a new partnership with a British company that has numerous affiliates in the region.
MDS Tech, a UK-based subsidiary of MiDis Group of Lebanon, will act as a distributor for Datawatch in Eastern Europe and the Middle East, according to a statement from Datawatch.
MDS Tech will distribute Datawatch’s visual data discovery software to its clients in the public sector, as well as in the banking, health care, telecommunications, and oil and gas industries, according to Datawatch. The software will provide pre-sales, foreign language and consultancy support throughout the regions.
According to MDS Tech Vice President Tony Achkar, Datawatch software gives clients data streaming and integration capabilities “to deliver real-time business insight.”
“We see Datawatch as a powerful addition that completes our solutions portfolio,” Achkar said in a statement.
A Datawatch spokeswoman said it’s the company’s first strategic partnership in the Middle East in several years.
