A portion of the Westborough Technology Park, which sits next to the westbound side of Route 9 near the intersection of Route 495, has been sold for $24.5 million.
Two buildings and associated property at 4 and 8 Technology Drive were sold April 29, changing hands from Gateway Sherwood Inc. to FD Special Opportunities III-a LLC, according to Massachusetts land records.
The buildings, constructed in 1987 and 1991, contain more than 214,000 square feet of office and research-and-development space, according to Westborough land records. The structures had nearly 40 percent of that space — nearly 79,500 square feet — available for lease, according to a listing with Colliers International.
Westborough Technology Park includes over 600,000 square feet of office and R&D space, according to Colliers. That include two hotels, day care services, a fitness center, café and a jogging path. Among the tenants are Bose, EClinicalWorks, and a Courtyard Marriott hotel.
