Park Place Technologies is moving into its new larger Westborough offices this week, which give it 50% more space than its old offices next door in Marlborough.
The firm, whose technology helps manage data centers and other digital infrastructure, has more than 120 employees based at 1 Research Drive, an office building just off Route 9 next to the interchange with I-495. Park Place is occupying 54,000 square feet of the building's nearly 300,000 total square feet of space.
The new location, whose lease was signed about a year ago, includes a 28,000-square-foot lab and warehouse Park Place said will serve as a hub for its parts and service operations. The lab and parts warehouses double the size of its previous such spaces in Marlborough, enabling the company to house more than 1 million critical parts and add a layer of service flexibility not possible before, the company said in announcing the move into its new space.
Park Place, which is based in Cleveland, also has offices in London, Singapore, Ireland and Canada. It says it is the world’s largest third-party maintenance provider.
The Research Drive building is owned by Marlborough's Ferris Development Group and previously hosted a major presence by the drugmaker Sanofi.
