Park Avenue retail building sells for $1.2M to neighboring restaurant owner

A retail property at 395 Park Ave. in Worcester sold for $1.2 million.
A retail property at 395 Park Ave. in Worcester sold for $1.2 million to the owners of a neighboring restaurant property.
The 7,169-square foot, single-story property with a parking lot had been on the market for more than a year. It is the home of Yoway Cafe and Frozen Yogurt and Kendy’s Beauty Studio which will remain at the location.
RE/MAX Partners Principal James Kalogeropoulos, who is opening a Worcester office, represented the long-time owners, Janis and Gary Arvanigian, who bought the property in 1994 for $240,000, according to the Worcester District Registry of Deeds.
The Arvanigians have now sold the property, in transaction recorded on Thursday by the Worcester District Registry of Deeds.
The buyer was K & J Huang Real Estate of Shrewsbury, the owner of the neighboring Wan Wang Restaurant.
