Park Grill & Spirits, a bar and restaurant on Park Avenue in Worcester, will soon be under new ownership, according to a Saturday announcement from the current owners on social media.
Owners Nancy and Eric Pearson posted on Facebook that Sunday would be their last day operating the eatery, as they are retiring from the hospitality industry.
The 016.com was the first to report the story.
In the post, the Pearsons said Park Grill & Spirits will be under new ownership soon, but did not provide further details. They could not be reached for comment Monday morning.
Nancy and Eric Pearson have been in the hospitality industry for more than 40 years. They bought the restaurant at 257 Park Ave. for $500,000 in 2017 after selling their 36-year-old West Boylston business, Pinecroft Dairy & Restaurant.
During the Pearsons’ leadership, Park Grill served American and Italian foods, and hosted live music and comedy.
The restaurant closed for good on Sunday at 6 p.m. and details on new ownership are forthcoming, according to the post.
